2/16 - Week 3, February 15-21

How are you doing? Do you need encouragement? Are you taking advantage of our offerings? I am grateful for our activities and events, and love getting out and meeting new people. If not for them I would feel like I'm corresponding with "65 virtual participants" from Altoona, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Fairchild, Fall Creek, Osseo, and Strum!

Speaking of our fantastic offerings, we had our first workshop last Monday night with Hillary and Ashley from Highland Fitness. They shared great tips to help us be fit at 35, fantastic at 40, fabulous at 50.... Not only did our attendees earn 10 points, Hillary and Ashley provided a great program!

Another opportunity for 10 points, our next workshop is on Thursday evening, February 26 at AKF Martial Arts Academy! Sign up is required for this one - more details below.

Wellness Tip of the Week: I learned about a new (to me) kind of fitness last week - brain fitness. Did you know the human brain starts slowing down as early as age 25? Scientific research shows that we can stay mentally fit. The brain has the ability to create new neural connections and pathways, at any age.
